Dads aren’t always the first to open up about their feelings, but that doesn’t make their grief any less real, or any less worthy of acknowledgment.
Just as we honor moms at our Bereaved Mother’s Day Brunch, we want to create space for dads too.
Bring the whole family and join us on June 20th for a special evening at Canal Park, where we’ll blend remembrance with the joy of a night, at the ballpark.
Tickets are $15 and each ticket will include:
- A Rubberducks game ticket along the 3rd baseline. Amazing seats! (Seats in this section average $30 each)
- Free baseball hat.
- Entry to throw out the first pitch. (Dad’s Only)
- Your baby(s) name featured at the game.
- Swag bag of goodies. (Dad’s only)
- Fantastic Fireworks show after the game.
GAME DETAILS:
- Akron Rubberducks will rebrand as the Akron ChipDippers in an “Only in Akron” celebration.
- First 1,000 fans 12 and under will receive a ChipDippers replica youth jersey, just like the players on the field.
We encourage you to grab enough tickets to bring your family and friends. We have a limited supply of tickets this year. If we sell out, we may have the option to grab more, but there are no guarantees. All of your seats will be together and we will be together in the same section. Limit 10 per transaction.
Our hope is to surround the grieving dads in our lives and let them know that they are not alone. We want to thank OUR BEREAVED DADS for their strength and support.
